East Lancashire Golf Association

This is a brand new Junior Golf initiative for E.L.G.A's juniors designed to offer improved participation in Junior Open Competitions throughout East Lancashire and promote a "Race" to the finish to establish the 2012;-

EAST LANCASHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATIONS
"JUNIOR CHALLENGE TOUR CHAMPION"

Participants must be under 18 years of age on the 1st January 2012 and be members of an affiliated club.
Players will receive bonus entry points and more importantly , positional points for the first 10 Gross & Nett places in each junior open that is part of the scheme.
The added "Bonus Points" will be dependant on the Number Of Player Entries in each Open Competition.

E.L.G.A. Clubs who are taking part will be assigned with appropriate rules and procedures.
Club registration of Junior Opens within the scheme must be finalised before March 31st 2012. for inclusion in the 2012 fixtures. ( Date extended)

1st - ........40 Points
2nd -.. .....30 Points
3rd - .......25 Points
4th - .......20 Points
5th - .......15 Points
6th - ........10 Points
7th - ........8 Points
8th - ........6 Points
9th - ........4 Points
10th - ......2 Points

(Note ;- Positional Points for the E.L.G.A. JUNIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP will be double those listed above.)

Field Entry up to 40 Competitors- ..................5 Points / Player.
Field Entry between 41 and 70 Competitors-..8 Points / Player
Field Entry of 71 and Over Competitors - .....10 Points / Player.

These bonus points will be awarded just for entering and completing your card.

All entry fees will be paid to E.L.G.A. by the Registered / Participating club following the respective Junior Open. - JUNIORS DO NOT NEED TO PRE-REGISTER - Just look out for and enter the Junior Opens supporting the Tour. - (Go to News Tab, Junior Tour for more information)
