The Lancashire Associations - JUNIOR TEAM TROPHY - 2024

( This incorporates all Lancs Associations - Team of 6 Juniors)

ELGA Players selected from availability , HCI reference etc.



GENERAL NOTE - Selected players.

Arrival:
1. Players to report to the Main Lounge (1 st Floor) where the Registration Helpdesk will be situated. This
desk will be administered by Michael Taylor (East Lancs) and; Rob Harrison (East Lancs).
2. Players must bring their individual WHS CDH number.
3. The locker code will be made known on the day.
4. The tee is reserved from 09:40am to 12.30pm. - See Starter Sheet when available.
5. Tees every 10 minutes (We have 12 tees, so plenty of time to adjust starting times).
6. Aiming for the First tee at 10.00am. Last tee time will be approx. 12.10.
7. Advice is that for a three-ball, 18-holes will take approximately 4 hours.
8. Players will be issued with a ‘token’ to receive a bacon barmcakes and juice, which will be available
upon arrival for all players.
9. Players will be issued with a ‘token’ to receive their main meal, which will be available from 3pm
onwards for all competitors and officials.
10. Non-playing friends can order breakfast food upon arrival but must pay for any food.
11. During the competition, all players are expected to walk the course.
12. For LGAJTT referees and officials, we have reserved two (2) electric buggies for our own use.
Players Safety
1. Players, please read the scorecard.
2. Black and White direction posts are advisable.
3. Please use the bells on the course.
4. On the 12 th hole, please make sure the green is clear before playing.
Format:
1. Players must be 18 years or under on the 1st of January 2024.
2. Each Association has 6 Players.
3. Maximum Gross HCI of 16 Handicap or below (Cat 1; Cat 2) though a selected player of 17+
handicap can play but is limited to a handicap of 16. ( MAX PHC of 18)
4. Tee will be allocated in Groups of 3 – Tee times to be advised nearer the date.
5. Each Group of 3 will be a mixture from various Associations.
6. Individual Medal Scoring (Strokeplay)
7. White Tees for Boys
8. Red Tees for Girls (SSS Variance)
9. Closing Date for Team Entry – Wednesday 21 st August 2024

Presentation Dinner
1. To be advised - Meals will be served in a named room.
2. Meals will be made available from 3pm – Table Service
Plate Meat Pie, Chips and Peas; Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream
3. Players are allowed to wear golf clothing or smart casual attire (no jeans or golf shoes please).
4. Officials can either wear jacket & tie or smart casual attire.
5. Presentation of the LGA Junior Team Trophy will be around 6pm.
6. Neil Wharmby has agreed that both Mrs Helen Mosscrop (Turton GC President) & Mr Mick Gorrill
(BGA President) will present the prizes.
